IRGIB-Africa University paid tribute to the late ex-president of the Republic of Benin, Mathieu KÉRÉKOU, who died in Cotonou the 14th of October 2015, at the age of 82.


The visit was led by the President and Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation, Prof. Virgile AHYI. Late President KÉRÉKOU was one of the world's longest-serving political leaders, spending a total of 30 years in

power. He was popularly known as “the chameleon” right from the early days in of his career. His moto: “the branch will not break in the arms of the chameleon”.
